Nobeasts' Land

Just beyond the mountain range they call the Beaks is the strangest place of all. Sand stretches out far beyond even an Eagle's eye, snaking in a thin line alongside the Beaks. It is stranger than Goldenground: this stuff is soft and white instead of coarse. But beyond even this strange sight is a wondrous thing to behold. It is a vast stretch of water, going on farther than even the imagination. The water is salty and parching to the taste, but it's cool and fabulous in summer. No bird wishes to make their home here, except perhaps loners.
