EVVIE insert a clever title, for i have no sense. The female sat preciously on a thin branch. Her yellow feet swaying a little whenever she opened a wing and examined the white feathers. Evvie watched the Goldengrass it gently swayed from side to side in the wind. Every slight movement and her wings would stretch out ready to fly away quickly, though it would only be a rustling leaf from a tree near by. Evvie was beginning to become tired and wanted to give up and re-treat to a nice cosy den where Sky-flock would wisk her into vivd dreams. Evvie looked area, her red eyes scanning the golden-blades of grass. A flashing movement made Evvie rise and open her wings and looking down she saw the large drop and she closed her eyes and flew off. Flapping her wings she gazed down at the grass and began to hover. Staring at the grass she saw a mouse. Evvie lowered herself gradually and then dived, she allowed her wings the catch the wind and she grew faster, the mouse seemed unaware of the diving bird and evvie snatched it up and landed back on a tree.
After her snack Evvie began to clean her feathers. Becoming bored she stared around, wondering where in hell all the warriors were. At the moment there was no Leader, deputy or healer and Evvie was desprate to become a healer. She wanted to help those after battle as she was tired of battling and forever being unknowledged. It made her hungry for more but at the same time, tired and weak. But even kept all the things to herself. Evvie sighed and closed her eyes, hoping to fly with Sky-flock instead of in this lonely void. Her mind was thinking up stupid things and it was hard for her to find sleep, but she still closed her eyes to let the daylight be drowned out by pure darkness. [/size]

{ capricorn; surprise, surprise }
The dark bird flew down, his feet barely skimming the long tendrils of grass that seemed to reach for him. His brown eyes blinked in the golden sunlight that seemed to have multiplied in the few short moments that he had taken to relax. Capricorn flapped his sturdy wings and rose up, the sunlight increasing on his dark colored back. He needed a place to sit, and now.
However, during his search, Capricorn surprisedly found himself not alone, a sparrow hawk sitting not to far beneath him. Capricorn dipped his wings and plummeted toward the tree, completely on instinct, cleverly aiming himself only inches away from the sitting bird, and the sudden whish of the breeze that he felt from both their feathers was enough to make him smile with the small sense of glee. He snapped his wings out and spiraled around the tree once before finally losing his sense of mischievousness and setting himself down, and as it turned out, right beside the she-bird.
"Hope I uh, didn't frighten you, miss?" The words were out of his beak before he had time to blink. idiot. you barely know her, and you've already apologized. Capricorn blinked, unsure of what to do next. So he looked over his 'companion'. She was a Sparrow Hawk, and looked somewhat fragile, like a simple push would break her. But she had muscle to, in her shoulders, and that convinced Capricorn that she was an Anorean. So, he wasn't a complete idiot, right?

i feel like my world is lost. Evvie figitted quietly, a few sighs escaped her. She was feeling a bit cold from loneleness. But Evvie banished the thought of being alone. Her eyes were still closed and she was gently drifting into sleep. She was on watch still as she would hopefully hear anyone...she didn't want to take risks. But sleep seemed now to rapidly come and Evvie was pushed into sleep. Evvie found herself in nothing but darkness, it felt like she would fall through the darkness forever. Evvie called momentarily before her dream changed. She dreamed of the Goldengrass, it swayed gently and no prey seemed to move. The sun was beating down and there were no clouds in the air. Raising her head she thought she smelt fire, Evvie looked around, she wasn't frightened of fire as she was a fire element. She laughed to herself. Then the dream started fading and Evvie looked around, wondering where this fire was but she couldn't tell as the dark void took over her..
Evvie awoke with a jolt. Still her mind was spinning. It was still light, she must have only slept a few minutes and already she had gone through a lot of dreaming. Evvie looked at the sun, it was still bright and beating down on her feathers and the feeling was pleasureable. Evvie looked back down, there was absolutley nothing here that was keeping her occupied, nothing and it bugged her. Evvie saw something catch the sun and she looked up, she stared at this bird, he seemed muscley so maybe he was part of the flock. Evvie ruffled her feathers and waited for him to realize she was down here.
To be honest, he took his time and Evvie began to wonder if she was going to leave, but she didn't like strangers who appeared for no reason and she was going to give him a mouthful if he said anything dumb..When he swooped down and landed beside her she glared at him and then he began to speak. "Hope I uh, didn't frighten you, miss?" what a way to start! Evvie smiled to herself then turned to him and growled quietly and began to speak, "What do you think feather-less? Huh? Of - course I could have been frightened, you creaped up on me, and I saw you. But it was a weird way to start." She growled, she then sighed, she got herself mixed up once again and Evvie cursed. She wondered what his name was, but she would want to start first. "Oh, by the way, I'm Evvie." She said quietly and eyed him suspisiously.

{ capricorn; not the villain or the hero }
"What do you think feather-less? Huh? Of - course I could have been frightened, you creaped up on me, and I saw you. But it was a weird way to start." The she-bird growled, and Capricorn blinked, fluttering his feathers. This wasn't exactly what he had wanted when he had flown by, he was only searching for a little bit of fun. you are an idiot "Oh, by the way, I'm Evvie." Capricorn looked up and blinked, surprised by her olive branch. well, come on idiot, say something.
"Well, hello, Evvie. I'm Capricorn." The falcon introduced himself, and yet his eyes strayed away from looking at Evvie, staring off into the endless golden grass. He smiled and fluttered his wings again slightly, wanting to feel that they were still alive. Something in the place wasn't exactly the gentlest of things, and it made Capricorn uneasy. Perhaps it was the sun, or the quiet stillness all around him. The falcon blinked and turned back to his companion. "So, Evvie, what brings you out to the goldengrass?"

Evvie narrowed her eyes as she looked across the land, she looked back at the male, she kept half an eye on him as she wasn't very happy with how he just swooped down. Turning her cranium to her wing she began to scratch underneath her wing. This male was beginning to get better and she was beginning to become comforted by the suns rays. "Well, hello, Evvie. I'm Capricorn." Capricorn? It was a nice name for him. She smiled at him and nodded. She ruffled her feathers, one moment she was furious the next she was being quite pleasant. Evvie didn't look at him as she saw him looking away. He looked uneasy by something, maybe her presence. Evvie sighed and opened her wings, when would she belong?
"So, Evvie, what brings you out to the goldengrass?" Evvie looked at him, unable to say anything. Evvie raised her eye and then smiled broadly and looked away into the golden-grass. She thought the question stupid but she didn't want to make him turn away, they would probably have to fight side by side in a battle against the other flock. "I am pleased to meet you too Capricorn. The name suits you." Evvie commented and looked at his wings, muscles and then to his eyes. She thought of another reply to his other question. Golden-grass was certainly beautiful but she didn't want to say that she was waiting for someone to come and speak to her and bring her from loneleness. "Well...its beautiful here....and...I was sorta waiting for someone to come and speak to me. And you came along." She said, shrugging and turning towards him. He must be safe couldn't he? He was part of the flock anyway!

{ capricorn; an upside-down view }
"I am pleased to meet you too Capricorn. The name suits you." The complement caught the falcon off-gaurd, and the boy simply blinked, allowing a moment for it to sink in before the faint traces of a smile were seen on his beak. He nodded gently and shuffled his feet, unsure of whether he should say something as well, for the following silence uneased him. He blinked and his earthy gaze traveled over to Evvie, watching her subconsiously, noting every little thing. Her light feathers, her thin, lean muscle, her firey red eyes...
"Well...its beautiful here....and...I was sorta waiting for someone to come and speak to me. And you came along." Evvie shrugged, glancing toward him like he had all the answers. Wind blew across the plains, right into Capricorn's face, and the falcon felt as though he had missed something. Capricorn blinked again, his face placid, mulling over what should be done next in his mind. But his instincts took over, and he took on a friendlier face before replying. "Yes, I guess I have." He started, pausing to glance out at the grass before him. How long had he stared at it that morning, watching it flow quietly below him, but never did her realize how calming it was. Evvie was right, in that sense. It was beautiful here. The falcon looked back at his companion. "It is rather nice here, I guess, isn't it? I... I never really looked at it that way before."
