* g e n e r a l » Be respectful. Don't pester other people constantly, don't call them rude things, and if you're going to fight keep it to PM.
» No chatspeak or leetspeak. Using stuff like "LOL" is fine, just don't overuse it. What you say should be understandable for the human mind. Or Shelob might- never mind.
» Don't try to weasel your way into a staff position. I don't like suck ups, and if you ask "can I be staff?" the answer will be no.
» Swearing is fine as long as it's not used offensively or over-the-top (meaning, if you keep ranting in the cbox and cussing excessively, you will be asked to tone it down).
» One account per character.
» Profile info such as display name and gender MUST correspond with your character.
» Only staff are allowed OOC accounts, so they can manage the forum.
» Forum images may not exceed 500x300, avatars may not exceed 150x200. Larger images will be downsized with a code or will be removed.
* p o s t i n g » We believe in quality over quantity. Posts must be at least 200 words, which is not difficult. We don't care if your post isn't a miniature novel, so please don't post word counts in your posts to show off. Just because you've written 3 paragraphs doesn't mean your post is "short."
» No powerplaying (controlling another person's character), godmoding (haven't a character who's impossible to defeat), or metaplaying (letting your character know things without a reasonable explanation).
» Absolutely NO horsespeak / wolfspeak / wolfscript / horsescript / RPG Vocab. I don't know if this has any other name, but it basically amounts as don't abuse the thesaurus.
» Please try to use understandable spelling and grammar. If you don't use spell check, we will eat you.
» Liquid time is fine, but I suggest that you don't overstretch yourself, this can overwork you as well as cause confusion ("Wait, Shelob ate that character already? My bad..." is just one example of something that could happen if you don't stay on track).
» Please don't bury posts in an overload of pictures and lyrics and what-have-you. Sure, they're cool, but if you're spending more time on appearances than the actual post, you've got a problem.
» IC seasons last 3 OOC weeks.
* c h i c k s&m a t i n g » No graphic or pleasure breeding. 'Nuff said.
» Force breeding is only allowed if both players have agreed on it (though it really doesn't matter whether both characters agree or not).
» No instant love. Physical attraction is fine but if they start calling each other "my love" after two posts, I will bash your face in, admin-style.
» Characters must have at least one thread to breed together (5+ posts / character).
» Characters must be at least 4 seasons old to breed.
» Post in the Next Generation board after breeding to receive stats. You may not request stats unless you buy a pass from the Shop.
» Crossbreeds can happen, but characters are naturally attracted to their own kind (ex. bald eagle x golden eagle would be reasonable).
» Nesting occurs in autumn and winter, hatching is in spring and summer. If you attempt something out-of-season, it may not be successful.
* f i g h t i n g » Fighting is encouraged! In character, that is. If you want to be leader or some other position you can achieve by fighting, go for it (;
» New flock leaders receive 1 season of challenge immunity.
» Characters must be at least 4 seasons old to challenge for flock leader.
» Staff must judge all flock leader challenges, other fights aren't required to do the same.
